Musician/Praise and Worship forum

I think it would be a good idea if ay had a forum based on the technical side of music. In this forum people can talk about anything from how to play certain techniques to how to play chords and things of that nature. It would also be used for lessons, say you really wanted to learn how to play trading my sorrow's but you don't know the chords or that little technical part in it other musicians can help you to figure it out. This can also be used for singers on the P&W team who want to talk about their techniques and share it with others to help them out. I think that this would be a good place for people on the P&W teams of our churches to be able to help each other and build each other up in our skills and faith, this would also help strengthen the local body of our churches as well I believe.

that's good. my saxophone is also hiding somewhere under my bed..

this would be good because as of now, these kind of threads are jumbled in the "entertainment" or "chit chat" forum..

Hmm, I haven't made up my mind yet. One the one hand it might be really good, but others have replied aobut how their instruments are, well, not used very often. If you are a musician but your instrument has been gathering dust, wouldn't a musician's forum gather dust as well?

I'm kinda in the middle, but I do think it might be good.

Mine's gathering dust because for one, I have no clue how to play, and secondly, there are no good songs out there that I actually want to learn. =P
