Geographical Sub-Forums

What if we had forums where people could congregate by continent/country/state/(county) in order to organize partner evangelism? We might not have enough people for this, but I'm sure we could find some if we announced it on some of the larger forums (might have to get permission, but that shouldn't be too big a problem if they are of the same commission).

This would be a great way to reach out to the mission fields we've grown up in. Pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaase!!! LOL

my main objection is that would require people giving out locational information and thats always been an online no no. I dont think i would be comfortable posting my state and possibly my city in an open forum.

I dont really think we should get any more specific than country, if people from a given country want to chat they could always just start a chat thread in "chit chat" for their particular country, I think if there was enough interest to justify this subforum these threads would already exist and be really active. These threads could potentially be useful to discuss local issues or youth events etc...or to just hang out and chat with your countrymen but think a seperate subforum is uncalled for at this stage but something that would be worthwhile if the evidence was obviously there to back up the interest

i voted no, cuz i don't think it'll be really effective. i guess you could contact other members through PM if you'd wanna get something done. but it's a great idea nevertheless, Chris. maybe when AY reaches it's thousands we'll be able to do it!

LOL. By the time there has been enough time for that, there won't be (m)any Christians 'cause they'll have been raptured.
