If you're just looking for another Christian album that appeals only to your flesh, then this is not the album for you. If you really want a worship experience that brings you to a greater understand of the God you worship, then I highly recommend this album.
We can sum this album up in a few words, praise, worship and adoration to an awesome God, who works in our lives in a real way. The lyrics on this album take you straight to the very nature of God. It forces you to see God as the awesome merciful, loving father he is. The creator of the heavens and the earth, who deserves our praise and our worship. The lyrics humble you right to your knees before your God, as you examine your life and see how worthless you are apart from him. It causes you to truly see the miracles he has worked in your heart and in your life. It forces you to learn to trust this loving God that we worship.
I have read many negative reviews of this album on the Internet, and they compare it to what has been put out by SonicFlood in the past. I did not believe it until I compared it to some of their other songs myself. It may not sound like the so -called "SonicFlood we know" but it is the SonicFlood who seeks for us to understand how awesome our God is and how much praise, worship and adoration he deserves. In my opinion they have taken our eyes off of Sonicflood and have turned our eyes to the God of SonicFlood.
The music is good, but not as good as it has been in the past. It music has lost a lot of it's quality and richness. The vocals are not as pure as I like. They have a nasal, raspy sound to them at times, especially in the song, "Light of the world." If you can get past this fact, you will enjoy this awesome worship album by SonicFlood.
